Hello peeps, Lets discuss and review your week 1 AND give you advice for your week 2 line ups!

So my jackaholics, how did you do week 1? Did you get caught off guard with an injury that crippled your team? Did a line up of Crowder Anderson and Scotty Miller wreck your OBJ, Thomas, Brees roster? lol if that did happen I feel for you. But lets drill down and make smart moves now on this very important week 1 waiver wire! Now for week 2!

This is very important disclaimer… IT IS ONLY WEEK 1! NO FIRE SALES, NO TRADING AWAY YOUR TOP PLAYERS CUZ THEY HAD A BAD WEEK! Be smart guys and gals.

So I will show you my thought process of my current line ups and teams, i have only 2 teams because, having 8 teams can and will usually be more of a hassle then fun. (Just my opinion).

Here is my SUPERFLEX TEAM – 12 TEAMS

This is my first SuperFlex draft ever.
Yes i did got 1st mahomes and 2nd Lamar Jackson
If you picked Lamar Jackson early and heard the rabble rabble rabble from the other players. Think on this He was 6th in the league in rushing yards.

So this league is a blind waiver $200 cap for the season. Which means i have to bid on each player I am trying to pick up, but also there is no waiver wire order based upon losers getting picks first.

The Jacknowsports pick up of the week. Scotty Miller WR for Tampa Bay, Brady loves 5’10” or shorter, white receivers. He had a good week one. With Evans having injury issues his whole career, this slot receiver is primed for a good season.
You may be asking… “Jack, why the fuck do you have Bourne on your team?”. That’s a great question. here is why. I had drafted Deebo Samuel late as a 3rd or 4th receiver. I had dropped Deebo due to being re-assigned to IR. Bourne was slated as 1st string starter for the game. With that being said, here is what i learned. TRUST YOUR PLAYERS! Also Jimmy G is who I thought he was and what he showed in the playoffs last year. He is not a gamer, FYI Bourne was open in the endzone and Jimmy threw a lame duck to him, which got swatted away by Peterson.
My week 1 dilemma was Courtland Sutton was questionable for Monday Night second game. Deebo was swapped for Bourne. So I decided to go with the play count over possibly better more explosive player… Anyone see James Washington’s TD? I did, I should have started him and went with “expert” picks instead of a guy who I am big on going into the season.
This week, will be a lot of waiver watching and injury report updates.

TEAM 2- FAMILY LEAGUE-10 TEAMS

This is my roster for week 1. As you can see it went pretty well.
I will say this about 10 Team leagues, they are hard to stay on top. You MUST stay on top of trends in Free Agency. This League is a waiver order league. Worst gets first. You can easily go from a winning to losing week to week if you dont shake up your line-ups. It is rare you draft a team that has no injuries or that you happen to draft all fantasy studs.

So what did i learn from Week 1 from this team/league?
I am going Dobbins heavy until he doesnt produce TD’s. SF and Garrapolo looked awful, which directly affects Kittles output along side of his knee injury.
I don’t need to make any adjustments on this league as I am waiting to see what Fournette will do.

All these guys are down for multiple weeks, each one has a handcuff that you can get in free agency. Buyer Beware Shultz which is Jarwins back up looked awful week 1. Keep an eye on him moving forward.

Hello Kings and Queens! With the start of the NFL Season, also starts the DraftKings Weekly Line-ups hair-pulling decisions. Here is how I will help your pocket and your hairline…

What you need to know about DraftKings;
There are literally 1000’s of possibilities to get a top placing spot with your line ups, as long as you pick the right players at the right cost. So what do I mean? I will show you my picks in a $5 game, which I won $8. (see pic)

What I did Right with DraftKings!
Josh Jacobs- 3 rushing TD’s. Here is what i Know. This guy is the Raiders offense! Currently the WR position for LV is lacking due to injury. 25.44% he wasn’t a surprise for a big output. But inexpensive compared to the points you get in return.
Dallas Goedert- Although I have Ertz in a fantasy league, this DOES NOT limit you to drafting completely different players for DK. He was a 3.64% pick and balled out! This guy is always cheaper then the top 6-8 TE’s. Great value for the price.
Allen Lazard- Another sub 5% drafted player. Another great value to cost. GB and specifically Aaron Rodgers is going to go off this year!

What I did Wrong!
Austin Eckler- 20.62% drafted, so at least it wasn’t just me. Unlike last year wasn’t used in the pass game. Kelley seems to be emerging. Buyer Beware.
Chris Conley- .94%, I knew JAX had the upset potential. I picked the wrong WR. Laviska Shenault JR is going to be my guy moving forward unless his price goes up!

Could Have Would Have Should Have…

Hopefully you all did well on your week 1 DK line ups. Lets look forward…

Here is my $3 line-up for Week 2 on Tuesday, with no injury updates and purely based on strategy and gutz!

Josh Allen- Good match-up. Had a great game week 1. $6,700
Josh Dobbins- If you’ve seen my fantasy football post. You know I am going heavy on Dobbins until someone can stop him. Good match-up. $5,100
Adrian Peterson- Good Price $4,700 Had close to 100 yards rushing GB has a good D, but the with Kenny Clark out and No REAL MLB, their run def needs some work. $4,700
Davante Adams- Destroyed the Vikings Last Week. IDC what he costs $8,100
De’Andre Hopkins- Also Destroyed the defending NFC Champs. IDC what he costs also $7,700
Allen Lazard- Here is where I bring up a little stat everyone playing DK should be aware of. OPRK, if you see this week you will see 31st and Green. That means Detroit has the worst passing yards allowed to receivers in the league. I am riding him like Dobbins until I see that he isn’t worth the price of $5,300.
Dallas Goedert- READ ABOVE- $5,000 that’s a STEAL (Going against a good D) worth the risk.
Isaiah Ford- So I currently have $3,500 in cap left after i have selected my team.
From what i see he is the best option (this may change before Sunday Kick off for now he’s in)
BUF Defense- They are going against the dreadful MIA Dolphins. Bills will probably win the division and have arguably the BEST D in the league. $3,900 not a bad price.

Hello Jackalorians! The origin story of the DARKHORSE (DH) is shrouded in mystery. Some say he is more then a man and less then a god. Others say he can do full side splits, which rumor has it was done to perfection in a Coyote Ugly Bar in OKC and inspired the movie.
While yet others say the only thing that the DH loves more then winning is his family! I am not the DH, nor will I take the credit for the predictions made.

Bet all day on the overs in Football. With NO fans in the stand there is a huge advantage to the offenses in the league.

Raiders over 5.5 wins for the season.
Steelers over 9.5 wins for the season.

Once the smoke had cleared from where the DH stood. Appeared an OLD GOAT (OG) long in the tooth and the beard. He begins to talk… this is what he said.

I’m an Essential Worker but I’ll get to that in a moment. It’s 10pm on a Tuesday. My neighbors text me that my sprinkler has been running for about 5 hours and my lawn looks like a puddled mess. Oops.

Yeah, I know. How awful of a problem to have. I left my fucking sprinkler on. I am guessing some of you are thinking, “At least you have a lawn.” Yep, I absolutely do. Well, eat shit. Having a lawn sucks, especially in a neighborhood that has some kind of lawn cutting competition.

Perhaps you can tell, I am not a fan of my lawn. I don’t care if its diagonal, horizontal, or vertical. I just cut in a damn circle until I get in the middle. Job is done, time for beer. Except yesterday, I hit a ground nest of fucking bees.

It’s so great to have a lawn that fights back. I took 3 hits to the head and 2 on the wrist. My hand swelled up like a head of a penis getting laid for the first time. This is a picture after I had ice on it for a hour.

Sorry, for the dirty dishes. If it bothers you come fucking wash them with a swollen hand you can’t close, because your dishwasher broke last year. Yes, last year. Just because I have a lawn, doesn’t mean I live in luxury.

Back to my original story.  Being an essential worker during Covid19,  Corona virus, bat digestion disease, (what ever it is this week.)  is a personal challenge.  I walk outside and all my neighbors are outside in one of the garages, (ooooooh, you have a garage too.)  pounding down beers.  Apparently I am the only one who is working in my neighborhood.

Alright,

Out of pure spite, or jealousy, (pick one) I snarled inside. I have a minimum 10 hour shift in the morning, and the cigar smoke and the sound of beer cans opening, will challenge any functioning alcoholic. Seeing me outside triggered some kind of celebration, as everyone rushed over to watch me turn off the sprinkler.

“You, want a beer?”

“You, want a beer?”

Of course I want a fucking beer. But, by sure willpower alone I refused. My inner responsibility kicked in to the human race. The world needs me! I shall not have a beer! I am an essential worker!

Night, after night for almost 6 months now I watch the night parties.  Absolutely, I am jealous. Day, after day I see people missing at work, for Corona virus testing. When will it be me? I long for a quarantine. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the threats upon man kind. Which, is why I get up and go to work. But damn, 2 weeks off minimum would feel great right now. I know, I am not alone in my thinking, essential workers are beyond exhausted. Party on you lucky fucks.

Unfortunately, with great power, comes great responsibility.
